New Project:

Kontrata WDFK1 është lidhur ndërmjet GDWSS dhe kompanisë ndërtuese PWT Wasser- und Abwassertechnik GmbH më 21 janar 2016, brenda kuadrit të Projektit të Investimeve në Sektorin e Ujit (Huaja IBRD-83230). Vlera e kontratës ishte 31,602,872.52 euro, ndërsa vlera aktuale pas VO-së është 39,500,000 euro. CO 1 Rroku Construction është zyrtarisht Nënkontraktor me 60% të vlerës totale prej 25,600,000 euro. Projekti u përfundua më 20 qershor 2019. Me përfundimin e këtij projekti, qyteti i Durrësit rriti kapacitetin e furnizimit me ujë me 620 litra/sek.

Short Description of Facility:

Construction of a well field (new production and monitoring wells):
Seven production wells: to provide a total of 630l/s of water;
Ten monitoring wells; four at Fushe Kuqe and six wells around the new well field.
Construction of new pumping station:
Two reinforced concrete collection tanks of 700 m3 each;
Main pump house with eight standard horizontal multistage pumps (q=104.5 l/s, h= 223m)
Chlorination unit at Well field and Break pressure tank;
3x 22 m3 surge vessel (PN 40) with an air compressor unit for surge protection.
Construction of new transmission pipeline:
14.5 km of transmission pipeline (DN 700, PN 10 GRP), from well field to Main pumping station including four micro-tunneling crossings along the route and 4 different crossing of channels. 46.5 km of transmission pipeline (DN 700, PN 10, 16, 20 and 25, GRP), including 7 water crossings along the route with different method, metallic bridge, micro-tunneling, open channel crossing and above under the span
Construction of 6 reservoirs (100m³ – 600m³) on the old pipeline and new pipe line, and 20 km of pipe line HDPE RC OD 110 till OD 315
